सिद्धगन्धर्वयक्षाद्यैरसुरैरमरैरपि !
सेव्यमाना सदा भूयात सिद्धिदा सिद्धिदायिनी !!
Meaning-

सिद्ध गर्धर्वो , यक्षों , देवताओं, असुरों द्वारा सदा पूजित सिद्धि देने वाली माता हमको सिद्धि प्रदान करें !!

She is the repository of all the Siddhis or Blessings, whether the 8 listed in Markandaye puraana or the 8 listed inBrahmveyvat Purana. Siddhidaatri is possessor and dispenser of all these Siddhis.

Siddhidaatri has 4 hands. She holds in her hands the Chakra, mace , a conch and a lotus flower. She is depicted either astride a lion or, as is more common, sitting on a lotus.

In her resides the ascetic virgin - Brahmachaarini , and the supreme content wife - Shailputri.

The innocent child - Mahagauri , co-exists with the terrible destructive energy of Kaalratri. The warrior goddessKatyayani becomes one with the tender motherhood of Skandmaata. Siddhidaatri is the summation of all manifestations of Durga and by merging and mingling with the energy of Shiva, she brings the world and all its energy into perfect balance.

नवरात्रि का अंतिम दिन है मां सिद्धिदात्री का। मां सिद्धिदात्री को आयुर्वेद में शतावरी औषधि से संबंधित माना जाता है। औषधि शतावरी बल-बुद्धि बढ़ाती है। साथ ही इस औषधि से रक्त विकार ठीक होता है। शतावरी कई मौसमी बीमारियों की रोकथाम भी करती है। शतावरी के नियमित सेवन करने से हमारा शरीर हमेशा निरोगी रहता है।

नवरात्रि के अंतिम दिन मां सिद्धिदात्री को शतावरी अर्पित कर, इसे प्रसाद रूप में ग्रहण करने से भक्त के यह सभी रोग दूर हो जाते हैं। यह हृदय को बल देने वाली महाऔषधि है। शतावरी का जो मनुष्ट नियमपूर्वक सेवन करता है। उसके सभी कष्ट स्वयं ही दूर हो जाते हैं। पीडि़त व्यक्ति को सिद्धिदात्री देवी की आराधना करना चाहिए और शतावरी को प्रसाद के रूप में नियमित ग्रहण करना चाहिए।
